Betts Meadow is located in Eastern Washington State, north of the city of Spokane, near the town of Chewelah. The meadow is very close to 49 Degrees North Ski Area.

One breezy August morning I joined the staff and friends of PCEI in their new community artists’ studio for an outdoor book reading.
